Kitten thinks its funny to tip her water?
We have an 8-month old female calico/tabby mix. She has one of the water bowls with the jug attatched to the top, and she thinks its funny to tip it at night and when we aren’t watching. It’s getting really frustrating, and we don’t know what to do. Taping it down doesn’t work. She also did this with her regular water bowl before. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
strap it to a chair leg or door.
use the strapping tape they put on papers…
or use a belt.. or elastic

they have ‘anti-tip’ bowls at the pet store. they are usually plastic and have a big rim around them that goes out hard to explain over the computer but it kinda goes diagonal out. ask the pet store they should know. my kitten did this too. soo annoying!!!!

Most cats are water tippers! Why? who knows! But some people will get the water foutains cat bowls that recycle the water cause they are for one a little heavier and some cats a really picky and like water that hasnt been sitting for a bit. My two cats also try and tip the water bowl but when I catch them doing it I squart them with water and they go running for the hills lol little stinkers but yeah cant really explain it, some cats just love to play with the water and get to into it. Try getting one of the water fountain drink bowls that cycles the water.

Thats a nice one, if its to pricey maybe tru amazon or ebay or overstock.com besides that cats will be cats

Oh how cute sorry but it is! anyway go to the pet shop and ask for some advice they will give you a bowl that she cant tip over.

My kitten does the same thing I’ve had her for about the same time as you’ve had yours. and yes it is the most annoying thing that she does. what I did is i have her litter box under my desk in my room and i put her water bowl inbetween my desk and her litterbox so its wedged in there and she’s too weak to tip it. she still tries occasionally but she doesn’t succeed.

get her a bowl that is too heavy to tip, or there are these dishes that don’t have very high sides at the pet stores they are so low that there is nothing unstable and they can’t tip them.
lol, my cat is not a tipper but she drags whatever she finds and puts it in her water bowl. or the toilet. cats are strange…
