What’s the best brand of kitty litter in your opinon? And is your cat picky about the brand too?
I like Fresh Steps in that lavender scent. However, it is a bit more expensive than some of the other brands. I just got Arm and Hammer Super Scoop and my cat refuses to use it. Is anyone else’s cat picky about their kitty litter? He will only use 9 Lives litter or Fresh Steps. He’s picky about his food too though. Cats are funny.

in the past when i’ve tried "bargain brands", when she did use them, the dust made her wheeze and cough.

My cat Precious was PICKY. If it didn’t feel right between her toes she knocked the entire litter box over! And she was 17 lbs so it was an extra large litter box! UGH! Princess I called her.
any way use the fresh step or tidy cats worked for me, but then again I loved the arm and hammer so…. and throw some baking soda on the bottom, so when they scrape it doesn’t smell as bad.
and unfortunately you have to clean in like every, or every other pee pr poo. Other wise it smells and sticks.
Also you can use the pan liners, they scratch them up, but i’d rather pick up the whole bag, wipe the bottom and refill it.
Kepp it as clean as you can, they don’t like a stinky toilet.

My cat’s usually go outside to the toilet, but the best brand of kitty litter I’ve used was "CatLux". It’s like tiny wood shavings and clumps when the cat goes to the toilet. You can just scrape out the clumps and top up the tray. My cat’s aren’t usually fussy about the litter I use.
They are however fussy about the brand of cat food I give them. They refuse to eat a couple of brands.

I go for yesterdays news as I can put it in the green bin and divert if from the landfill.
My cats will poop in just about anything.
Yesterdays news can get messy if you let it get too wet, however as long as you are prudent about your little box care you should not have an issue.

My cats couldn’t care less as long as I keep the cat box clean…but I prefer to use Tidycat clumping litter for multiple cats

my kitty likes tidy cats but i scoop it out 2 or 3 times a day and i change the litter box 1 or 2 times a week

Cat’s are funny that way. some are picky some are not.
I like best the one that has activated charcoal in it… it really keeps the smell down if you can’t clean immediately
